Software Engineer · Tutor · Founder of WaliGran

Known as Tutor Wali among students across universities in Saudi Arabia, I combine a software-engineering background with more than four years of practical experience supporting students, graduates, and professionals with technical learning, academic projects, career preparation, and professional development.

What does WaliGran mean?

The name WaliGran reflects the purpose behind the platform. “Wali” carries the idea of someone who supports, stands with, protects, or guides another person. “Gran” represents something respected, valued, and useful. Together, WaliGran represents guidance that people can value and rely on — practical support that helps them move forward. The name reflects our goal of standing beside students, graduates, and professionals as they solve academic challenges, develop technical skills, choose career directions, prepare graduation or senior projects, improve their professional profiles, and take stronger steps toward their future.

From Tutor Wali to WaliGran

Before WaliGran became a career-development platform, the work started through direct support for students across universities in Saudi Arabia. Known among many students as Tutor Wali, the focus has always been practical: understand the problem, explain what is difficult, identify the next step, and help the person move forward. WaliGran was built to organize that same problem-solving approach into a broader platform for academic preparation, career development, and professional growth.

Experience built through real student and professional needs

Tutor Wali is a software engineer with experience across multiple core computer science and software-engineering technologies. Over more than four years, he has supported 500+ students in Saudi Arabia with technical learning, coursework challenges, presentations, project planning, graduation and senior projects, and preparation for life after university. The same experience has extended to graduates entering the job market and employees who need to understand or transition to new technologies in their professional roles.

Connecting academic work with professional growth

A student's challenges do not end with passing a course. Choosing the right specialization, developing useful skills, selecting a graduation project, building a portfolio, preparing a CV, improving LinkedIn, finding internships, applying for jobs, and preparing for interviews are all connected. WaliGran is designed around that full journey so academic decisions can contribute to stronger professional outcomes.

What WaliGran helps with

WaliGran supports career planning, career roadmaps, CV writing, LinkedIn optimization, job and internship search strategy, job applications, cover letters, interview preparation, skills-gap analysis, course and certification selection, graduation and senior project guidance, GitHub and portfolio development, and practical technical learning. The goal is not to offer disconnected services, but to help users understand how each decision fits into their wider academic and professional direction.

Who we support

WaliGran is designed for university students trying to make stronger academic and career decisions, fresh graduates preparing to enter the job market, job seekers improving their applications, professionals developing new skills, and employees moving into unfamiliar technologies or new career responsibilities. Support is available in both Arabic and English to better serve users across different educational and professional backgrounds.

Built around experience with students in Saudi Arabia

WaliGran is shaped by years of direct interaction with students from universities across Saudi Arabia. That experience has provided practical insight into the questions students repeatedly face: which skills to learn, how to choose a career direction, what makes a useful graduation project, how to present academic work professionally, how to prepare for internships and jobs, and how to move from university learning into the workplace.

Our approach

We begin with the person's actual situation rather than a generic template. The aim is to understand the current stage, identify the real gap, explain available options clearly, and turn the problem into practical next steps. WaliGran combines human guidance, structured information, career tools, and practical resources so users can make more informed decisions and build stronger professional readiness.

Our mission

Our mission is to make high-quality academic and career guidance more structured, practical, and accessible for students, graduates, and professionals in Saudi Arabia. WaliGran aims to bridge the gap between education and employment by helping users understand what they are learning, why it matters, how to demonstrate it, and how to use it to move toward meaningful professional opportunities.

Practical guidance, not unrealistic promises

Career development is different for every person. WaliGran does not promise employment, admission, interview selection, or a specific career outcome. Our role is to provide clearer information, stronger preparation, practical tools, and structured guidance so users can make better decisions and present their abilities more effectively.
